Title: Which version of Advanced TCP/IP Data Logger? Post by: gutbuster on March 23, 2014, 11:52:01 PM I'm a little confused as to which version of Advanced TCP/IP Data Logger will work for me. I have 5 serial RFID detectors attached to 5 RS232 to TCP/IP servers. As the RFID cards are swiped and, thus serial data sent to PC via Ethernet ports, I want the associated data to be logged into an Excel spreadsheet. Pretty basic stuff, but can this be done with the Lite or Standard version (to save money) or is the Professional or greater version required?

It depends on how you'll process the receives data. If you'll use any plugins then you need the Pro or Enterprise version. |
