Title: Can logger send acknowledgement?
Post by: Bo1000 on May 06, 2010, 06:12:21 PM
I have a remote device logging measurements in its memory, and I'd like the AGG TCP/IP datalogger to acquire that data periodically - and then send an acknowledgement back to my remote device so that the remote device can safely erase its data, knowing that the data was successfully uploaded to the PC.

Is there a way to have TCP/IP Datalogger send an acknowledgment after it receives data?

Thanks.

You can do it with the "Script execute" plugin.

Thank you!  This will make a nice closed-loop system.
