Title: Which version do I need? Post by: mccallum4004 on July 01, 2010, 09:19:23 PM I am ready to purchase the Advanced Serial Data logger but am unclear whether I need the Enterprise version or if I can get by with the Professional version. The "compare versions" page on the website isn't very clear. With the trial version I have used the scripting module and that appears to be covered by the professional version, but it looks like the expressions module (which I take as a trimmed down version of the scripting module) requires the enterprise version.
My configuration is set up to regularly send a query, parse the response, calculate (using the scrpting module) a result, and export that to another program via DDE. I do not expect to do anything beyond that. So will the professional version suffice? Title: Re: Which version do I need?
