Can the Advanced Data Logger receive data from one Com port, export to a program to filter and parse the data, and export the re-formatted data to another Com port?  Thanks for any info.

If you want to do it with your own program, then you can use our ActiveX control for the data logger.

Thanks, I would be hopeful to use Excel if possible to parse some Ascii bytes out of a serial string, then send them out in a differently formatted string via a different Com port.  Does this sound like a possible capability for the AGG software?

I think that you can do it without Excel, inside Advanced Serial Data Logger. But if you need Excel, then yes, our ActiveX can be embedded to an Excel worksheet and process received data.
