All our data loggers like "Advanced Serial Data Logger", "Advanced TCP/IP Data Logger" and etc. have been updated. All plugins for these data loggers have been updated too. This update contains several changes and bugfixes:

[new] XML Data Parser plugin;
[add] All data parser plugins can now work properly in the TCP/IP server mode. If you use this mode, then activate the “Detect client ID” option in the parser;
[add] The program will now always show errors and warnings in the main window;
[add] Advanced Modem Logger: spy mode has been added;
[add] ODBC Database: the user can configure a disconnect timeout;
[add] ODBC Database: the plugin can detect lost connections and reconnect;
[add] Simple VT100, VT52 and TTY terminals emulation to TCP/IP Data Logger;
[add] NMEA Data Parser: you may define custom framing characters of a data packet;
[add] The program can automatically create and write data to subfolders, dependant on the current day, or month or whatever time period you like. Just add {DD}, {MM} or {YYYY} format identifiers to the path string;
[change] The program will verify that the user didn’t configure duplicate data sources;
[change][important] We’ve optimized the program architecture. Now the program requires less system resources and starts much faster if you use several plugins;
[change] Direct Excel Connection: interface optimizations;
[change] Direct Excel Connection: Supports MS Office 2007+ and uses a corresponding file extension (xls or xlsz);
[fix] [important] Sometimes, the program may suddenly crash with an error;
[fix] [important] Sometimes, the program may unexpectedly disappear from the desktop;
[fix] Access violation error in the ODBC Database plugin;
[fix] Local database: the plugin didn’t write to a file if the user mask is empty;
[fix] Local database: rare memory leak;
[fix] OPC Data Logger: memory leak when restoring a configuration from a backup file.

Please, go to the download area of the corresponding product and download a full installation package and necessary plugins.

Note: Please, verify that your period of free updates isn’t over (usually 1 year since the purchase date). If you want, you may prolong your updates here: http://aggsoft.com/support/update.htm
