Hello,

I'm using the trial version of Advanced PBX Data Logger 2.7.7.630 and see to have it properly configured (with our Eclipse Executone IDS). I have readable data on the screen but for an unknown reason, no log file is created at the specified location (C:\). As I run the application as a local admin, I have read/write rights on the drive's root.

I was trying to figure out why it wasn't working and I've found that I can't select the "Write to log file for data received" checkbox. The option is grayed and isn't usable. I have attached a print screen of what I can see in the Log rotation tab.

Is it the reason why I can't make it work? Do I have a way to enable it?

Additional note: I have tested it on two distinct workstations. Same results on both.

Thanks for your help!

Please, try to create any folder on the disk C: and write to this folder. By default, C:\ is protected for write.

Hi Arthur,

I have created a new folder (C:\Logs) and changed the log file path. Still no trace of data. I have full admin rights on the folder.

Thanks for the reply.

Do you launch the program using an icon on desktop?

Could you try to update the program to the latest version?

Oh, it looks better now... A file has been created. I'll let the software run some time and see if I have any other issues. But it looks good!

Is it possible to log each entry on separate lines? In the log file, I have one straight line of data, including multiple entries. I would like to have each of them on a separate line.

Thank you Arthur for your (quick!) replies, it is appreciated!

Where do you look your logs? Try to open your log file in Wordpad. It is possible it will look better.

I was using Notepad... but you're right: in Wordpad, the data is usable.

Thanks!
