uart receiver parity error

Machine  to pc

Mazak 6g with Mazatrol EIA dash controller.

I am receiving the files to the PC ok but I get the above error at the begining of the transmission.

Mazak coms settings

Code ISO
Stop bits 2
Check parity even
Parity check off
baud rate 4800

Settings in software

7 bits
no parity chech
2 stopbits
4800 baud

Is this a problem i need to fix

Please, set the even parity on the PC.

This error means invalid number of data bits. Try to configure parity.
