Title: Re: Newbie here and confused Serial data to excel spreedsheet Post by: Arthur Grasin on April 28, 2010, 07:40:07 AM Do you see received data in program window?
Title: Re: Newbie here and confused Serial data to excel spreedsheet Post by: Danncs on April 28, 2010, 03:15:04 PM Yes, when the port opens, seem some times it states it open or aready in use. Seem I cant use con 10 on the emulator and the looger at the same time. some time I have to make the emulator com eleven and the logger 10 to get it to work. Im am sending E21741074 to the logger and getting E21741074#OD#OA in ther programing srreen. As far as the DDE screen I'm not even sure where that is and nothing in the Sheet at all. Perplexed here :-\ I would not think it would be so hard to do its just a weight and I need time stamp and date for ever time the scale weighs. I'm sure its not to someone that understand more about this subject.

Title: Re: Newbie here and confused Serial data to excel spreedsheet Post by: Danncs on April 30, 2010, 09:38:17 PM Been messing with this for days. Can see data come in on logger but nothing on DDE sever screen or excel. Might have look for another way.
Title: Re: Newbie here and confused Serial data to excel spreedsheet Post by: Arthur Grasin on May 01, 2010, 07:56:12 AM If you see data in the program, but not in the DDE Server, then the parser isn't configured properly. I've sent you parser settings for a data example that you provided before.
