Title: How to catch the enumeration data?
Post by: jfong on May 24, 2010, 06:14:10 AM
Hi!

    I am trying the free version on catching data during the enumeration stage, but no success.
The monitor seems can start only after the USB device has been enumerated,
or it is a limitation of this free version?

    Best Regards,

1. Plug in  your device;
2. Install all necessary drivers;
3. Open our software and install the monitor driver for this device;
4. Open the waiting monitor window;
5. Remove your device;
6. Plug in it again.

Hi! Arthur,

    Thanks for your prompt reply.

    Here is what I do:
    1. Pulg-in my device and make sure it was listed in the PC's device manager without error.
    2. Bring up the USB monitor and see my device has listed in the "USB Devices windows" also.
    3. Right-click my device. The "Remove the driver service" and "Remove the class filter driver" items are both selectable, which means the driver has correctly installed on it. Then selcet the "Open the waiting monitor window" item.
    4. The "Waiting for a device -- monitor window" was bring up. The start icon is gray as expected.
    5. Unplug my device. The item listed in the "USB Devices window" is disappear either.
    6. Re-plug my device. The device was back and an active pause icon shows up in the monitor winodw, but nothing was catched there.

    Let me know if all steps are correct, then I will try on another PC to test it again.

    Best Regards,
