Multiple config on the same COM port
«

I need to use multiple config on the same COM port in order to seperate different requests that with its corresponding responses.
But it seems data logger suite combines these two groups of requests.
Similar thing happens on multiple config on the same IP address:port.
In doing so, why does not data logger suite prohibit setting multiple config on the same COM port in first place?

Hello,
A COM port can be opened only only once. Therefore it is not possible to use it in several configurations.

I understand the very same COM can not be opened twice.
How about the multiple clients connecting to the very same Modbus TCP server?
