is the only interface mitel provide to their data a "data logging" interface? or is there a way to directly access (read-only of course!) the database resident on the 3300 PBX?

i'm confused: you don't know if mitel provides a data logging interface? you don't know if mitel has a database?

how does AGG's software connect to the mitel? Do i need a special cable?

in the event that the hardware running the AGG software crashes, locks up, loses power, or somehow otherwise becomes disconnected from the 3300 ICP, is there any data loss between that time and when the two systems are once-again connected?

I don't know about the database.

Our software captures SMDR data. We are software developers, I can't say anything about cables.

I'm sorry, but I can't answer this question. You can try it with our trial version.

uhm. yeah. sounds like you've actually never used the software with a pbx. doesn't mean the software won't work, just that i'll have to figure it out myself... that's not a problem (i've been to school a few years), but was hoping for some "lessons learned" before having to learn them all myself.

We didn't use our software with this PBX ourself, but our customers successful doing it. I can say that our software works with this PBX, but can answer specialized questions about this PBX.

If you'll connect our software with your PBX, then could you share your research?

Yes, it is possible to connect this PBX with our software and capture the SMDR data, but I don't know how to capture the ACD data.
