Hi  Im new to this and confussed. I want to send data from a Gram scale to and Excel sheet with a date and time stamp.
Here is the data E21736078       
I want Date, time,  21736
Any ideas
Im using come port 8

Thanks I'm read but not alot of luck. com port will not open anyone have any idea. Any help on this on time project of mine.

 Sad I.m still not getting anything in the speedsheet.  My port emulator is sending, I see it come in the logger and then after that I'm lost.  can anyone  please help Smiley

Yes, when the port opens, seem some times it states it open or aready in use. Seem I cant use con 10 on the  emulator and the looger at the same time. some time I have to make the emulator com eleven and the logger 10 to get it to work.  Im am sending E21741074 to the logger and getting E21741074#OD#OA in ther programing srreen. As far as the DDE screen I'm not even sure where that is and nothing in the Sheet at all. Perplexed here Undecided  I would not think it would be so hard to do its just a weight and I need time stamp and date for ever time the scale weighs. I'm sure its not to someone that understand more about this subject.

 As far as loading the ini file you lost me. All so nothing is going on the spreasheet of my choice. Huh

Been messing with this for days. Can see data come in on logger but nothing on DDE sever screen or excel.  Might have look for another way.

If you see data in the program, but not in the DDE Server, then the parser isn't configured properly. I've sent you parser settings for a data example that you provided before.

seems cant really get any serious help,so i will have to try another program. Or lean more a visual Basics. Undecided
