Hi,
I wrote a bit of code using .NET 3.0 serial class to test some boards It worked fine tested the boards.  Next batch came along I had Advance Serial Port Monitor open in the back ground test the boards closed the port went on looked at Serial Port Monitor it seemed to be picking up sudden burst of data and the port was reopened at 9600,8,n,1 were as my app had been using 38400,7,n,1, the data in Question is #16C ? The PC then suffered an 'Error' (according to the Event Viewer) and rebooted Windows.  It appears as though my code is stable and this only happens with Advance Serial Port Monitor in spy mode.
Anybody any clues???

Glenn

Hi,
I am using ASP 3.5.0 Build 25, I was using a simple C# (Vis Studio 2008 app) I had written when the problem started.  No it seems if you have ASP in Spy mode it will send #16C out the port.  I will on Monday up-load my C# code to you if needed.

Home Time!

Could you upload the compiled application? Did you try the latest version from our website?

Hi,

Okay, to answer questions:  I am using the version my company has a licence for I have had issues with our licence and the most upto date(?) will give it a wirl this morning with the eval version.  I can up load the exe through the http://www.aggsoft.com/support/ upload link however I could send you the routine (in C#) which I think is causing it or both.
What would you prefer both are do-able at this time.

Hi,
I suppose I really should point out here this only happens when ASP is open.

Hello, Glenn.

Unfortunately, this is a very old version and I can't test it. It is possible, that this problem is already fixed in the latest version.
