I am pulling SMDR call traffic logs from my Mitel 5000 CP via IP and it connects and I can view the SMDR information on the data logger.  I want to redirect this information to COM1 on the same PC which is connected via serial cable to my call accounting hardware/software.  I am using the trial version at the moment to see if I can achieve this, but I am unclear on how to set up the redirect.  Can anybody assist?  Thank you.

You need our Data Logger Suite software (http://www.dataloggersuite.com/) only this software can redirect data from IP to COM. You'll need the "Data redirecting" plugin.

1. Create 2 different configurations for COM and IP and srtup it.
2. Activate the "Data redirecting" plugin in the "IP" configuration.
3. Specify your COM port like COM1.

The Data Logger Suite doesn't give me the option of which PBX system I am using as the Advanced PBX logger does.  What do I specify in the Data Logger Suite so that I can recieve that information from the Mitel 5000?  I was getting the SMDR log from the Advanced PBX software but not the Data Logger Suite.

The latest version of the PBX logger also allows to create 2 configurations. One for IP and another for COM.

Arthur, i'm using the latest version (trial version) and i can create two connections the ip one connects to my PBX no problem and i've created another connection for COM1 but how do i program the redirect to work?

Here are the screenshots of the ip Connection and the COM5 connection and the redirect setup.

Arthur, let me know if you can help and i'll buy whatever version i need as soon as this is working properly.

Thanks for your assistance...

Please, create a backup copy of your current configuration (from the File menu) and attach it here. I'll verify it.

Here is the backup file you requested. If you could take a look at it for me it would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks Arthur.

Please, update following files in program folder\plugins\pbxparser:

1. Mitel 5000.xmlz (attached).
2. The pbxparser.dll (http://www.aggsoft.com/download/beta/pbxparser20120206.zip)

Then slightly correct your settings (see images).

I have updated and added those files in the pbxparser folder.  Can you confirm the COM1 port setup for me?  I have to have this working by the end of the day today if you can send reply as soon as possible.

I did and still no data on my COM configuration.

Arthur Grasin

Do you see incoming data in the IP configuration? Please, activate the DDE server plugin. Do you see active items there after receiving data? Also you can send me a personal message and we'll schedule a remote support session.
