Generated Ouput

Hi
Using the serial port emulator I was hoping to be able to read the out put into another application like hyperterminal, but the com port is in use.
When I opened the software I hd to choose an existing com port.

I am guessing this software generates output out and doesn't simulate data in ? which is what I need

Yes, the program generates output data only.
